Green and Carbon Neutral Building Transition Guide- Istanbul Model (Build4GreenIST) “ - Green and Carbon Neutral Building Transition Guide
Considering that the largest percentage (63%) source in our Istanbul greenhouse gas emission inventory is fixed energy, a guide will be created to support actions related to building energy in the city. This guide aims to ensure that newly renovated buildings within the scope of urban transformation are green and carbon-neutral. Additionally, selected pilot residential areas will have their energy consumption monitored through sensors. This monitoring aims to encourage behavioral changes for efficient energy use
- Istanbul to have a Green and Carbon-Neutral Building Transition Guide, and for it to be used as a guide in urban transformation processes
