Istanbul has a strong position in the field of ‘living’ because local governments take the initiative regarding the focal areas of life, the city has a 2023 vision that will increase integration and coordination with its rich cultural and historical heritage, and has access to plenty of technologies and a strong technical infrastructure in health and education.
Opportunities exist in the ability to make use of digital accessibility, the activeness of urban transformation projects, an increase in feedback mechanisms and the opportunity to analyze the feedback in more detail while creating strategies.
More focus will be placed on organizational structure, inter-unit coordination and integration, contingency planning, the infrastructure of accessing data, and innovation incentives.
