Field Strategy

All stakeholders in the Smart City ecosystem will contribute to increasing the capacities of all relevant institutions by cooperating in line with the common goals of Istanbul.

The existence of government support for smart city investments in Istanbul, the ownership of smart city projects by IBB senior management, the establishment of the Smart City Branch Directorate, and the availability of competent human resources for innovative projects are among Istanbul's strengths in terms of organization and human resources.

It is important to adopt data sharing by all institutions, to ensure coordination between units and to increase the interaction between the public-private sector and academia.
