The program started with a video message from Mr. Ekrem \u0130mamo\u011flu.<\/p><p>Addressing the participants with the words \u201cA new beginning for Istanbul\u201d, Mr. Imamo\u011flu said, \u201cWe have accepted developing new tools to make the lives of the people of this city easier as one of our primary duties. In doing so, we have always kept the requirements of the information age in mind. Now we are here with a local Smart City Strategic Plan specific to Istanbul.\u201d<\/p><p>After Mr. \u0130mamo\u011flu's video message, IMM Deputy Secretary General Zeynep Neyza Ak\u00e7abay made the opening speech of the program.  In her opening speech, Ms. Ak\u00e7abay emphasized that the 2030 Istanbul Strategic Plan was implemented in line with the green, fair and creative vision of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.<\/p><p>After the presentation of IMM Smart City Director Ali Ta\u015fdemir's 2030 Istanbul Smart City Strategic Plan, the program continued with a panel session.<\/p><p>In the panel; Dr. Erol \u00d6zg\u00fcner, Head of IMM IT Department, \u201cGovernance and Security\u201d, Prof. Dr. Ay\u015fen Erdin\u00e7ler, Head of IMM Environmental Protection and Control Department, \u201cEnvironment\u201d, Utku Cihan, Head of IMM Transportation Department, \u201cTransportation\u201d, and Dr. Y\u00fcksel Yal\u00e7\u0131n, General Manager of Istanbul Enerji A\u015e, \u201cEnergy\u201d, presented Istanbul's smart city projects and targets for 2030.<\/p><p>The 2030 Istanbul Smart City Strategic Plan promotion event, which was attended by people from IMM, public,
